Casa da Malha - Knit Manufacturing

Textile Manufacturing

Overview

Casa da Malha was born in 2018, from the desire to be an innovative company through socially conscious and sustainable actions. We consider ourselves to be a society caring company, having the following four basic commitments: quality, security, social responsability and sustainability. For that reason, we have been fully invested in taking impactfull actions in all those fields. We are certificated with the following standards: GOTS, GRS, OEKO-TEX Standard 100, Better Cotton, ISO 9001, IS0 14001, ISO 45001, SA 8000. From a basic jersey to an elaborated fantasy double-face, we produce a wide range of circular knits, while trying to ensure our products quality through constant supervision and the use of premium and sustainable raw materials among which we highlight: Seacell, DEOCELL and Tencel cellulosic fibers, ECOVERO viscose, pineapple, soya, silk, long staple cotton, wool, nettle, linen, hemp, cashmere, KAPOK, COOLMAX, CRABYON, polyester and Eastman NAIA acetate. At every bi-anual collection, we have a range made with yarns that we had in stock because we do everything we can so that our resources don´t go to waist and are still developping circular practices to help reduce the ecological footprint and shorten our value chain.
