Overview

AAUS - The Australian Association for Uncrewed Systems (AAUS) is Australia’s peak representative body for the unmanned systems / drone industry across land, sea, and air domains, and emerging urban air mobility sector. We are the largest and oldest not for profit representing the remotely piloted aircraft sector in Australia. Our objective is to promote a safe and viable unmanned systems industry through advocacy, outreach, networking, and professional services. We represent the complete spectrum of the drone industry, from small businesses to large multinational companies. Our members include individuals and companies operating, selling, producing or using unmanned systems, as well as organisations providing broader services and infrastructure to the sector. AAUS is also the preferred industry body for Defence-industry engagement. AAUS advocates on behalf of the entire industry and currently informing regulations on safety, privacy and security, and the development of new training programs. AAUS also runs a number of annual events to inform our advocacy efforts, educate, and provide opportunities for networking. We regularly meet with community and end-user interest groups as part of our education and outreach. AAUS also offers professional drone operators an independent (and free) professional endorsement program. AAUS members also enjoy discounted insurance.
