Overview

A Voice for Transit is led by Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) (Formerly Ryerson University) students and alumni. We take an evidence-based approach to addressing delays, overcrowding, and transit inequity on Toronto’s transit systems like the GO and TTC. We received seed funding from the Leadership Lab in April 2019, an action-oriented think tank at TMU committed to developing new leaders and solutions to today’s most pressing civic challenges. We have also participated in TTC stakeholder consultations and deputed at the TTC and the City of Toronto.
