The first known printed use of the word “bookkeeper” in English dates back to 1555. Cloud and mobile platforms have since changed this age old practice and the evolution will continue. 1555 is taking those years of knowledge, lessons, learnings and wisdom and driving the needed change. 1555 is focused on the support of the modern contractors office. Another industry that has many years of established practices and is now going through a revolutionary change is the construction industry. At 1555 we are combining these two and the mission is to supply modern bookkeeping practices to the modern construction office.
