  In the year 2001 I won an online competition at www.worldsurface.com, with one of my pictures takein at Antelope Canyon, Utah in 1999 This allowed me to get funding to travel around Thailand and Australia for three months as a Global Reporter on sustainable tourism. Part of it was to write an Online-Diary (these days it would be called a blog) and take pictures for the community. Unfortunatley worldsurface was shut down in 2008 and is no longer available.
