  The Packaging Cluster was established as a separate legal entity on October 26, 2012. The CLUSTER PACKAGING's board of directors comprises: BOSSAR, NESTLÉ, CHIMIGRAF, LEITAT / BIP, MENSHEN, ABB, DOW CHEMICAL GROUP MONDI, CARINSA, VAHC Engineering Solutions, Enplater and LANTERO GROUP. Spain moves 17,500 million euros per year, represented by 1,500 companies and occupying 73,000 workers. The 46% of Spain's turnover is concentrated in Catalonia, represented by 900 companies and employing more than 18,000 workers.   Innovation and internationalization project manager, among wich are: - Programme to attract foreign investment ("Develop Your Talent"). Project focused on international companies with high added value that wish to operate in southern Europe for expansion, with associated value projects. Through the program, currently 10% of companies in the Science and Technology Park of the University of Girona are international. - Programme to promote the corporate entrepreneurship ("Corporate Venturing"). Project focused on national industrial companies that have identified a business opportunity into a different scope of its daily operations. During the first year of the programme, we have created three companies from different sectors (Industrial, ICT and Retail). Annually the methodology allows creating 5 different companies. - Support for innovation and fostering the internationalization of companies and research groups.
