I am primarily responsible for the bank’s technology environment inclusive of digital security and data, working closely with partners and Challenger’s shared services to ensure a fit-for-purpose, commercially sound level of service for both staff and customers. I am particularly proud of leading a successful architecture integration due to the recent acquisition, allowing MyLife MyFinance bank operations to merge seamlessly with Challenger’s operating model. As the CTO of MylifeMyfinance ADI start-up and Advisor for Catholic Super Fund (CSF), I was accountable for all aspects of the technology environment and its role in the wider outsourcing ecosystem, ensuring efficient, compliant, and reliable services for both employees and customers. A highlight of this tenure was leading business transformation from idea through to execution, integrating scalable enterprise business solutions supporting digital origination and self-servicing with a new operating model to allow the Bank to be sold at peak value. Additional Achievements • Created and led hyper-efficient cost models for MyLife MyFinance’s suite of products and the delivery of budget-friendly customer products by driving new cloud technology. • Reduced the customer acquisition cycle from up to 48 hours to less than 10 minutes and expanded self-service capabilities that benefitted overall experience. • Reduced complexity and transformed digital experience across delivery channels by moving to one central core banking system for the storage and operations of data and processes. • Facilitated secure, scaleable technology infrastructure including an open-banking ecosystem to enhance customer verification services, digital wallets, and IT security meeting current and future requirements in Australia. • Initiated a Programme of Work (POW) to support enterprise architecture changes, ensuring a successful merger between stakeholders, the bank’s parent company and another super fund. • Utilised risk management to offset incidents and minimised exposure to Cyber threats by reinforcing IT security measures.

As the Enterprise Architect and Enterprise Infrastructure Architect, I was responsible for strategy and technology roadmaps for IT infrastructure and a three-year rolling business plan, as well as delivering ME’s transformation. This included collaborating with senior leadership across the business to communicate change; and delivering straight-through processing for deposits and lending.As the IT Infrastructure Services Manager, I was responsible for the strategy, technology roadmaps, performance, capacity, stability and currency of IT infrastructure. This included overseeing managed service providers and other vendors to ensure compliance.Within this time, I led the implementation of the largest and most complex outsourcing deal inclusive of all legal and commercial negotiations and provided governance on the delivery of a multimillion-dollar POW inclusive of BAU changes. I also drove ME’s participation in RMIT’s mentoring programme.Selected Additional Achievements• Led IT strategy and project managed a team to help implement a scalable organisational model that reduced cost for the largest business unit within ME.• Collaborated closely with senior management in conflict resolution, developing target states and communicating the benefits of target state enterprise architecture to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.• Assumed an IT leadership role to shepherd infrastructure-related initiatives through the bank from concept to delivery, identifying opportunities and technology innovation to deliver digital transformation by capturing duplication and dependencies.• Created an Enterprise architecture mobility strategy to support the vision for the workplace of the future.
