EdgeOrchestrator project My Responsibilities: - Developed and maintained the edge orchestrator software that handles the deployment and management of containerized applications on the edge devices. - Worked closely with the product management team to identify customer requirements and translate them into software features and improvements. - Designed and implemented a microservices-based architecture using Docker and Kubernetes to increase scalability and reduce downtime. - Built and maintained RESTful APIs for integration with other services and platforms. - Developed functionalities in golang for day-zero-config/zero-touch-provisioning and Zero Trust Access. - Conducted code reviews, wrote automated tests, and optimized application performance. - Worked with DevOps team to ensure the smooth deployment and operation of the edge orchestrator across different environments: - Helped with the deployment from scratch of the k8s clusters used for different environments - Automated the deployment of the infrastructure applications creating shell scripts that use helm to deploy the related helm charts - Implemented the CI/CD part of the project using Gitlab CI pipelines, designed multiple pipelines for each stage of the application development - Set up a backup system for the Kubernetes clusters using velero and restic - Participated in the creation of documentation, training materials, and support for end-users. Orange Infrastructure project My Responsibilities: - Set up a Kubernetes cluster consisting of 3 availability zones, each zone having one Kubernetes master node and 5 worker nodes, in an isolated air-gapped environment - Installed MinIO using a highly available system design, an S3 object storage which we used for saving Kubernetes backups - Configured velero to back up the Kubernetes cluster, following the clientʼs requirements - Defined test scenarios for the k8s infrastructure with focus on security concerns Show less
