As the Product Manager in a cross-functional product team at Planday, I was lucky to work closely with Zuzka, who was key in helping us systematically design and deliver tangible improvements to the customer experience and create high value to the business. I knew she was a great addition to the team from the very beginning, as Zuzka showed a high attention to quality and professionalism, as well as an impressive ability to quickly gain a deep understanding of complex customer needs, real-life domains and technical constraints. Among all the other skills and techniques under her toolbelt, I particularly admire Zuzka's critical thinking and great communication skills. She usually has creative, outside the box perspectives in problem-solving, and is not afraid to challenge group think and other cognitive biases, but always kindly and with thoughtfulness and empathy. I'm truly grateful for having had Zuzka on my side, helping me to notice and avoid some of the common pitfalls we, Product Managers, are so prone to fall into, such as jumping into solution mode before diving deep enough into the problem space, or basing a decision on assumptions.
