  A coalition of local nonprofit organizations that come together to build infrastructure to support local immigrant and refugee communities. On the immigration team, we provide guidance and support for families and individuals going through the legal process. My tasks include case management, contacting lawyers, and connecting families with local organizations that can assist with childcare, transportation, legal council, mental health specialist, and financial assistance. Since 2020 I have also worked for the hotline division picking up calls for people who need assistance whether it be someone inquiring about how AMOR can assist them through the legal process or checking on an update in their case.
