Worked in the Geotechnical and Structures Laboratory analyzing the relationship between the concrete and compression applied to the mixtures to generate a resistant material for impact or blast load. Conducted test in a 600 MPa-capacity pressure vessel under a 2,000,000-lb-capacity compressive loader. Performed laboratory samples for processing data (principal stress difference vs axial strain graphs) and investigated the brittle-ductile behavior of the concrete mixtures with steel fibers. Meet deadlines with the mentors and director of the internship. Presented a final report and presentation to mentors, director, and coworkers.
