As a MacNeill House Captain, I am responsible for the organisation and facilitation of a variety of homeroom activities, school-wide themed days and assemblies to create a positive school environment for students. We were responsible for the facilitation of school wide events such as Push Up Challenge for Mental Health, Active August and Mindful May. We are also responsible for connecting with students of different walks of life and relaying the feedback to constantly improve the house system at Rossmoyne. Building house spirit is an essential aspect of the role and I was involved in the organisation and MCing assemblies of up to 500 students and helping out at school carnivals to build house spirit and pride.
