  News Channel Nebraska (NCN) is an independent, in-state network of commercialradio and television stations in the State of Nebraska and Sioux City, Iowa. The networkis operated by Flood Communications LLC, which is owned by attorney, businessmanand former Nebraska Speaker of the Legislature Mike Flood. Programming is gearedtoward the entire state rather than for a specific region.During her internship with the station, Zoe was the in-house meteorologists delivering daily weathercasts for the entire state of Nebraska. She grew into the role of delivering daily weatherforecasts and contributing as part of a broadcast meteorology team. She learned how toselect the correct graphics, pace her delivery, and tell a story with the weather ratherthan throw out clichés while gesturing in front of a green screen.
