ARK Foundation Ghana

  The ARK Foundation, Ghana runs a shelter for those that have experienced domestic violence and provides education and resources to the students and faculty of local schools. - Giving presentations to audiences of between 300-500 students and faculty on recognizing abuse and the resources available. Followed each presentation with a report outlining the success of the presentation and suggestions for improvement- Drafted a proposal for UNICEF to receive support and funding on initiatives to end child marriage. - Collaboration with a local Ghanaian radio station to fundraise money in order to re-open the domestic violence shelter - Transferring of client information into a formal, online database to increase accessibility.
