Although this work experience was done virtually, I've definitely learnt a lot about marketing such as different possible marketing roles inside the department, the importance of customer feedbacks and getting exposure through different platforms for promotion such as email subscription lists or social media. One of the more memorable parts was learning about the SWOT analysis where you get to pick a good or service and thoroughly analyse it which was very fun for me. I've had the privilege to watch a sci-fi tv show production where I was able to help make props such as glowing clouds and a futuristic computer from scratch for the show. I also had a chance to watch the show being filmed closely with the director giving comments after every take in order to get the best shot possible. It was fascinating to see different people working together to make an imagination come to life. It was definitely an eye opener for me.
