Starting as a multiple cashier I took responsibility of three cash books, posting and allocating payments and bank reconciliation amongst other adhoc tasks. In 2005 I was promoted to credit controller where I looked after circa 150 accounts ensuring monies due were paid to terms and assisting with customer queries. I monitored exposure and flagged customers approaching their credit limit.From 2005 - 2013 I was given responsibility of the reconciliation team, supervising the team to ensure accurate reconciliation and audit and was also passed the direct debit assistant ensuring all direct debit processes were actioned and deadlines met. I was finally given the independent cashiers where I oversaw the posting and allocation of cash receipts into our branch accounts and monitored cash matching and weekly bank reconciliations.
