  Used previous knowledge of STEM concepts learned through engineering to teach children ages 5-13 about STEM-related fields and projects. Projects implemented through an inquiry-based curriculum included working with Micro Bits, programming in Minecraft using JavaScript, building sustainable robots relating to a new theme (such as Jurassic Park), and various hands-on science experiments. As a leader, I helped my campers develop computational thinking through various coding activities using input/output from the Micro Bit and modding in unique Minecraft worlds. I also introduced important engineering concepts such as problem-solving and iteration through various hypothetical scenarios. This included the challenge of building of a robot using a Micro Bit, recycling, and a servo motor to create a machine that would spread and count seeds to rebuild forests lost due to deforestation and track forest growth.
