      The supported internship programme is designed to support individuals with additional needs into employment, the programme is designed to enable individuals to gain confidence, knowledge and transferable skills from their placement into employment whilst supported by a fully qualified job coach. My role as Abbey Hill's Employer Relationship Manager is to build relationships with employers, to match students with employer, to communicate and ensure that employers and students are fully aware of the programme and the support that is provided, to support the job coaches and students throughout the programme and support the students into employment using their confidence, transferable skills and knowledge that they have gained from their placement.
