Zoe and her team provided me with a great support and helped me to solve without fuss an issue involving the bureaucracy of two different countries. Her communication and updates have always been clear and concise.

Zoë is a very efficient and responsive advisor, open to listen to your questions and to provide advice on finance as well as her valuable opinions on more general market trends. She had the difficult task of convincing me As the successor of the previous advisor I was very happy with, and she made it. I had a few advisors and she’s definitely among my favourites as I have the feeling that she’s striving to exceed expectations. An empathetic and attentive person, she is always adding a human touch and a smile to the exchanges, so I really hope to continue to interact with her in the foreseeable future.

I worked for the Times as an interviewer, carrying out student interviews on my university campus about their future career prospects and their access to information about graduate schemes whilst at university. I was the first person to complete the intial 25 interviews on campus, demonstrating my ability to work quickly and efficiently under a time deadline and a high pressure environment. I also developed some effective interviewing techniques, including ensuring that the interviewee remains focused and gives the most truthful answers possible. Show less

      • Aug 2016 - Jan 2017

As an intern for the office, my role was to assist the account managers in their tasks. This ranged from carrying out property searches and making suitable appointments, to completing relevant immigration forms for clients. The vast majority of the work was operated in Spanish, however as a native British speaker I was able to offer proofreading help with emails, letters and presentations. The latter skill I was keenly endorsed upon, and adapted and created many presentations for staff who had upcoming business meetings. Show less

I worked as a coordinator for R9V who ran voluntary programmes for students. This required overseeing projects: creating and managing suitable activites and ensuring that all volunteers were safe. As a senior worker in the company, I was also required to manage areas of the social media and marketing, as well as some finances. My level of French meant that I was entrusted with the task of contacting and sourcing new projects around the city. I worked as a coordinator for R9V who ran voluntary programmes for students. I worked as a waitress at the renowned Bettys Cafe and Restaurant, firstly as a part time member of staff whilst at High School and then spent a period of time working full time whilst earning money to fund a gap year. I continued to work for Betty's on a seasonal basis whilst at university. The position of waitress was a promotion from an initial position as 'managers assistant', and required extensive tests. One was written and focused on product knowledge and the menu, whilst the other was practical and ensured that the level of customer service provided was maintained. Whilst working at Betty's I also occasionally played piano in the main restaurant. Show less
