  Contributing researcher commissioned by the British Council (SA) and European Union on a research report titled The state of inclusive education in South Africa and the implications for teacher training programmes, Teaching For All: Mainstreaming Inclusive Education In South Africa, in partnership with the University of South Africa (UNISA), British Council and Media in Education Trust Africa (MIET AFRICA). Research report was published in December 2018. Duties:•Conduct research on existing Inclusive Education tools, materials and programmes in partnership with local universities • Conduct needs analysis of pre- and in-service teacher Inclusive Education needs in partnership with local universities• Convene Inclusive Education colloquiums with Department of Higher Education and Training, Department of Basic Education and PEDs, SACE, teacher unions, university education departments, NGOs• Establish baseline of existing attitudes, skills and knowledge to inclusion and number of children being excluded from system
