It is with honor that I write this recommendation on behalf of Zina Gorelik. I had the pleasure of being her direct supervisor for almost a year starting in October 2018 while she was a temporary employee at JBT Corporation. Her vast engineering experience was a welcome and greatly needed compliment to my Electrical Engineering Department at a time when we required additional resources to quickly meet increased demands. Very early on, it was abundantly clear that she was a quick study and was able to learn our company's systems and methods to the extent that she contributed almost immediately. With little supervision, she not only accomplished her assignments within the allotted time, but also took ownership of her tasks to the point where she was soon recommending ways of improving the processes to save time and increase quality. She fit in well with the rest of the team and worked with them cohesively on many designs. Due to my own newness in the position, I regret that there were too many occasions when I didn't have adequate time or knowledge to properly orient Zina or give her the direction and instructions that all employees richly deserve. However, it was comforting for me to know that she wasn't going to let that stop her from working on her own to find out from who or where the missing information could be found. She is rarely shy about seeking and acquiring the cooperation of other departments when needed. She would then share the information with me and the other engineering members so that we could all benefit from her efforts. Over the time we have worked together, I have come to admire her thoroughness and tenacity when faced with difficult engineering challenges. And her professionalism is unparalleled, as is her conscientiousness and dedication to continuously giving her best effort. It is with sadness that I could not continue to retain Zina or extend to her a full time offer as the result of a prolonged slow-down in our business. However, I would not hesitate to recommend her to other organizations in need of such a highly experienced and capable engineer. I hope this letter is able to adequately express the extent of my gratitude to Zina for her numerous contributions, and also that it will help in persuading other hiring managers to consider her for employment. Best wishes to all, John Martelli Electrical Engineering Manager

I worked closely with Zina for nine years. She consistently demonstrated a self-driven work ethic with a strong passion to deliver impactful results for the business to succeed. In her electrical/process controls engineering role, she went above and beyond to support production manufacturing, even when it required night or weekend support. She supported Allen Bradley, Siemens and Beckhoff automation technology within the factory. Zina was an excellent team leader and contributor for improvement projects. She excelled at optimizing a high speed packaging lines by calculating product flows through stages and executing program changes for belt/equipment speeds, product buffers and delayed timing start and stops. Zina demonstrated excellent attention to detail during planning and execution to ensure a smooth implementation, while also keeping excellent records for accurate and complete project closeout documentation. Zina went out of her way with a customer centric focus to receive input and provide guidance to the production floor throughout all projects or changes she was involved in. She would never take shortcuts or compromise any compliance requirements. Zina is very knowledgeable in electrical safe work practices and she was the X-Ray inspection SME that also included being certified in radiation inspection.
