As a trainee in one of the branches in Byblos Bank, I took part in the bank’s training program to learn, understand, and support with the retail banking operations and procedures. Time was allocated to take part and learn each function in the branch. Teller tasks: recording transactions and counting and packaging currency. PB: opening new accounts and helping with loan applications as well as promoting the bank’s products and services. Customer Service Representative: responsible for establishing and retaining customer relationships by efficiently performing accurate banking transactions and opening and closing accounts in line with the Bank’s goals and objectives. At the end of the training program I succeeded to earn a top 5 position in the sales competition that the bank ran among their interns across their branches in Lebanon. Show less

As a trainee in the course of “hands-on banking” in the academy in bank of Beirut in JBV 13 branch during the spring of 2017, I attended many sessions on different topics that fall under the umbrella of retail banking such as credit, housing, and trade finance transactions. Four hours were spent with one of the bank’s PBR to learn about the different bank’s products and the methods of explaining and selling the said banking products to the customers. A visit to one of the bank’s smart branches was part of this training as well where I learnt about the role and functions of smart ATMs and its various usable advantages in the market. A comprehensive exam was conducted at the end, and certificates were handled in the academy (headquarters Beirut). Show less
