Following the successful acquisition of Wanda ONE (UK) Ltd by R&F Properties Group in July 2018, Zheheng has been transferred to R&F ONE (UK) Ltd automatically and continued to work on ONE NINE ELMS PROJECT.

Zheheng was approached by Dalian Wanda Group HQ from Beijing directly in December 2014 to take a key role of their London project team managing the design of Wanda first overseas project – One Nine Elms. One Nine Elms is a one billion commercial development located in Nine Elms Regeneration Zone on the South bank of Thames River. It is a mixed-use development including a 173 key five star hotel and 476 high-end apartments, currently it is under construction and aiming to complete in 2020. As a Design Manager, Zheheng is responsible for managing, driving and coordinating the design with local consultant team from planning to completion stage, his responsibility also includes reporting to Wanda HQ on a regularly basis and bridging effective communication between Wanda HQ and the UK team. Responsibility: • Responsible for procuring /assembling a multi disciplines design team and ensuring suitable designers/consultants are appointed to cover each and every package. • Responsible for managing, driving and coordinating with a multi-discipline design team by using technical expertise and commercial/programme awareness. • Work closely with Wandsworth planning department, consultant team and Wanda HQ to ensure that the project has been carried out in line with planning consented scheme while achieving the commercial/programme target as a developer. • Responsible for preparation of design master programmer with design team, monitoring and managing the design process to ensure each milestone is completed on time. • Working with design team develop and establish the Hotel brief for Wanda London Vista Hotel . • Review and comment on architect's design outcome. • Responsible for the communication with UK legal, planning and statutory guidelines. • Responsible for the design consultant’s novation, participate main contractor tender. • Provide design support and information to the Sales Depart. and Hotel Operation Depart. Zheheng joined BDP Manchester Studio as an Architect playing a key role within the team for all the Chinese projects, Zheheng was responsible for the design of diverse projects from initial briefing through to Stage D both in the UK and internationally. Also Zheheng worked with multi-disciplinary design team members closely for different types of projects, and took responsibilities for liaising with the clients and coordinating design with the LDIs in China. In early 2008, Zheheng was offered a position at Keppie Design Ltd Glasgow office, joining a big design team where he was largely involved in Healthcare and Education projects. In 2010 Keppie started to extend their business in China so he was promoted as a Consultant Architect responsible for the projects related. Zheheng's first architectural job was gained at W2 Architects in Nanjing, China. During the period of working at W2 Architect, as an Architectural Assistant and Leader of 3D team, He obtained his first real insight into professional practice and developed a deeper understanding of the realities of architecture.
