      Advance the Army National Guard (ARNG) Substance Abuse Prevention Program (SAP) by developing and maintaining necessary relationships with state Points of Contact (POCs). This includes coordinating with the Unit Commander, scheduling initial assessment and follow on treatment as needed, tracking progress, weekly check-ins with Soldier, paperwork retrieval, and documenting all communications and progress within the internal database. Serves as a member of the Community Health Promotion Council (CHPC) and the Adjutant General’s Alcohol and Drug Intervention Council (ADIC). Establishes and maintains relationships with community-based providers. Maintains the State resource catalog. Compiles and distributes required weekly and monthly reports to the Recruiting and Retention College (RRC). Attends Substance Abuse interim progress reviews.
