The position she entered into was one that was conceptual in nature and it was discussed in a very transparent fashion that she would not only need to perform the essential functions of the position, but also help to define other areas of the role. Zealan approached her essential functions and also her role in supporting a high level Director in our school in a strategic and effective manner. Her ability to organize projects from a stage of visionary concept to a tangible outcome was demonstrated very early in her time with the school. This outcome, as well as the successful outcomes in many other areas, was supported and enabled by her significant skill at fostering highly collaborative interpersonal relationships with key stakeholders in our organization. Zealan has very quickly become an integral factor supporting the operational objectives at our school and has been a joy to work with.
