I enjoyed working with Zarrin over several years as a fellow IVLP program manager. I admired Zarrin's attention to detail, flexibility with ever-changing priorities and deadlines, and the ability to see the big picture in every project. I also appreciated Zarrin's true passion for international exchanges and the desire to make every program/project truly meaningful, impactful, and helpful to participants. As I remember, Zarrin was always looking for new resources and ways to enhance learning and sharing opportunities for foreign professionals visiting the United States.

I have served with Zarrin on the Columbia (MD) Association's Advisory Board for International and Multicultural Affairs since 2009. Zarrin has brought a lot of good ideas to our monthly meetings, is passionate about international and cultural exchange, and often serves as a volunteer at our monthly language cafes and culture fests. She has also hosted exchange students and international visitors at her home. I greatly respect Zarrin and would not hesitate to recommend her for any work--voluntary or otherwise--in the international field.
