Project manager and system lead for the LEOniDAS team from Cranfield University taking part in this year's edition of ESA's Fly Your Thesis! programme. Through these parabolic flights, the LEOniDAS team will be validating several drag sails for de-orbiting small satellites at end-of-life. Our solution aims to tackle two key challenges in the space industry: the sustainability of future space missions and reducing debris in low Earth orbit.
