Courtroom Operator (R v Tyndale, Habib & others)
-
Oct 2016 - Dec 2016
Acumé Forensics are the UK's leading producer of courtroom presentations and ancillary services, 3D reconstruction, CCTV capture and review, audio and video improvement, forensic geomatics and forensic imaging. As Courtroom Operator, I was solely responsible for operating the electronic presentation of Operation Tarlac at Leicester Crown Court. My daily duties involve maintaining and updating iPads containing jury material, conducting on site liaison with personnel as well as troubleshooting and ensuring the maintenance of all hardware and software systems installed. A crucial element of my role as Courtroom Operator was the maintenance and development of a close working relationship with Counsel, CPS staff, administrators and barristers involved in the case. In particular I was responsible for supporting and maintaining all operations at the direction of Counsel and ensuring quality control of all material that is prepared and supplied for the case. Over the course of Operation Tarlac, I developed a strong and effective professional relationship with Counsel and received a judicial commendation from His Honour Judge Head for my services.
