Safesitters is an agency that links families with fantastic local (student) babysitters. My responsibilities within the management team include creating and posting content on Facebook and Instagram, reporting weekly on social stats, suggesting and implementing strategies for expanding our customer and sitter numbers, outreaching to customers via email, creating advertisement flyers. Within the Design Team at Wordsearch I had the chance to work on projects from the initial concept, where I would research the brand, the context of the surrounding area and even go on site visits to gather primary research. My InDesign skills improved greatly as I produced mood boards and presentations to help steer the art direction. I then shadowed the designers as they created beautiful branding work. The Tech Team worked closely with the Design Team to deliver bespoke apps and websites to go along with the newly created branding campaigns. I helped the Tech Team by proof checking and tweaking models prior to a draft being shown to the client. I additionally took part in weekly meetings involving discussions on how to enrich the work-life culture at Wordsearch through initiatives such as talks, quizzes and challenges, along with 2 weekly newsletters, a Wellness Newsletter on Wednesdays and a Weekly Digest on Fridays. After some time I even became solely responsible for creating contents and sending out the Wellness Wednesday emails. Show less

1 week spent on a task to design a Pavillion to sit in the middle of the Kings Crescent Estate development. I went on a site visit, carried out sketches, mood boards and models, then finally presented to an audience. 1 week spent on a task to design a Pavillion to sit in the middle of the Kings Crescent Estate development.
