Initially hired as a trading desk assistant on the Fixed Income Floating Rate Note desk for approximately three years. After three years transitioned to the Customer Service Group providing trade support and settlement functions with a client facing aspect. Customer base being large institutional customers and central banks. I remained in this role for approximately three years. Moving to the settlements group covering bond settlement functions for UK and Europe, settlement functions being both domestic and euroclear. The roles included trade booking, trade support, pre matching, liaising with clients and brokers and settlement agents. Throughout my time in fixed income I was involved in a number of projects which enabled me to develop a variety of project management skills and also provided me with the opportunity to liaise with senior management within Operations and the Business Unit. I then moved departments to become a UK Asset Manager in the Commercial Loan Servicing Space for 3 years followed by a term on Trade receivables. In December 2008 joining the Residential Mortgage Servicing are Managing the repossession portfolio for syndicated and balance sheet loans. Show more Show less
