As part of my Master's Candidacy, I have conducted fieldwork in the Kluane Valley, Yukon, Canada, for seven months over two years.I have organized and maintained two seasons of a long-term monitoring project, conducting live-animal trapping to collar animals and collecting morphological data. This included building bio-logger collars for small mammals to collect movement and behavioural data, followed by data collection, management, summarization, and analysis. As well as conducting drone flights using DJI Matrices 300 RTK to collect vegetation and habitat data using LiDAR and RGB imagery. Show less

Through an internship with the OBA technology transfer program, I assisted in pathogen and disease control research in honeybees. I organized and operated the laboratory to run analyses on field samples. I helped maintain and run experiments on honeybee hives for products related to disease and pathogen control and assisted in facilitating educational courses on honeybees for the general public.
