• Ultra-filtration package units Process Controller and Operator – Monitoring performance of all equipment, gauges & charts in the treatment plant as well as pump stations. • Identifying malfunctioning on equipment that includes gauges, pumps, filters and other control equipment. • Carrying out instructions as given by Plant manager and ensuring all activities in the plant are in compliance with laid down policies and procedures. • Recording data concerning plant operations. • Operating pump stations. • Operating valves to control flow and adjust flow in the treatment process. • Preparing Cleaning-In-Place (CIP) chemical solutions and execute cleaning procedures. • Physically inspecting the plant to see if there are no repairs and maintenance work to be done. • Checking if tools are in good working condition ad safe to use. • Checking electrical, water and pressure settings to ensure they comply with plant requirements to avoid accidents. • Reporting and recording all safety incidences and plant accidents as well as filing them safely, ready for retrieval upon request. • Physically checking plant equipment for defects that could hinder production. • Adhering to housekeeping and maintenance roasters as required. • Assisting in carrying out any maintenance at plant level and offloading stock to arrange them neatly in storeroom. • Monitoring stock to be readily available, including: valves, bolts, nuts and chemicals used. • Report writing, giving feedback to manager on daily performance. • Advising plant manager on any queries and enquiries by customers regarding plant and its products.
