Employed as part of the Talent Diversity Internship Programme, I collaborated with the district office in evaluating and improving care leaver outcomes and was in charge of monitoring and implementing these changes by first piloting them in Northampton. I worked with charities and schools to evaluate and improve care leaver provision in Northampton in accordance to the leveling up plans and planned and led seminars on this topic and others. Additionally, many of my day to day tasks also involved supporting the Department for Work and Pensions in meeting its company goals and operations. I often dealt with complex computer-based administrative tasks, supporting the department in meeting any relevant operational legal frameworks, and utilising a range of communicative and organisational skills when supporting service users with a wide range of inclusion and safeguarding needs. Dissertation: 85% (A+) - Researching associations between politics, marketing, and communications through undertaking original quantitative research which fed a marketing proposal, campaign, and comms planning project that attempted to examine the effectiveness of DTD political canvassing in a post-COVID world. Aspects such as the rise of new media channels that political bodies own and earn were also thoroughly and reflectively analyzed. This was a large project which attempted to balance academic and professional frameworks utilizing original academic research and statistical inference to theorize and further analyze current political campaign practices and professionally plan and strategize in practice smart objectives, develop metrics, and then attempted to implement such objectives through standardized and creative approaches.
