Mr. Zakar Hussein Hussan Al-Hashemy I came to know Mr. Al-Hashemy, as a tutor, while he was in his second year of a four-year course of studies leading to B.Sc degree in Electrical Engineering (Electronic and Communication Engineering). I followed his progress in my capacity then as Students Affairs Officer. Mr. Al-Hashemy was awarded B. Sc degree in Electronic and Communication Engineering July 1999. The entire course of studies was conducted in English except for one non-engineering subject, dictated by central government policy. For his final year project, I was head of the examining group. His performance in his final year project impressed me as being an exemplary effort, which reflected his scientific maturity when judged against his second year potential. His continual strive for higher accomplishment won him a place in our departmental M. Sc program after an impressive result in his entrance examination. Mr. Al-Hashemy went through the postgraduate courses smoothly. He started his research project under my supervision and obtained M. Sc degree in Communication Engineering in 2004 with his thesis entitled "Crosstalk reduction investigation in WDM system". His defense of the thesis was highly acclaimed by the examining committee. He capitalized his knowledge by his work with a foreign company working locally in the field of mobile communication. This employment opened new horizons for his experience through the various training and reorientation courses organized by the company, besides polishing his English language. Mr. Al-Hashemy enjoys an amiable personality which influences others around him. He is cooperative and can easily fit himself in a group. He is responsive to directives, which was extremely valuable in my supervision, yet he is in possession of strong personality, integrity, and determination. On the basis of the above, one can but recommend him highly to undertake postgraduate studies leading to Ph.D degree in his field of specialization. Dr. Mutaz S. Abdul-Wahab; Assistant Professor; Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering; P.O. Box 350101, Baghdad, Iraq. Email: drshunasi@gmail.com

Since the early day I met Mr. Zakar, Mr. Zakar was a great person to start my new mission with, he was very helpful open minded, well rounded and highly skilled in Telecom and project management. Without Mr. Zakar support, I wouldn’t be able to easily manage the 4G project, he seconded me in Erbil as my deputy and he was able to manage the team and the 4G project in a very professional manner. Mr. Zakar was able to demonstrate his leadership style, management skills, and knowledge in highly professional manner. Zakar has very diversified skills and competences that made him a very successful professional and he is always eager to have more challenges, responsibilities, and he has passion to learn new things. The skills and competences that Zakar has, made him and his team over achieving their objectives, and to meet tough deadlines of any tasks, projects and/or responsibilities he and his team mandated to do. Mr. Zakar has an excellent team spirit, coaching skills, leadership, management, analysis, and work ethics, very supportive, highly dedicated to his work, team and colleagues with a very positive attitude. Under the direct supervision and support of Mr. Zakar, regarding all Tishknet’s "4G" LTE Advanced project requirements, we have successfully launched our LTE Advanced
