My role was very customer focused therefore my duties included advising and helping customers with their personal requirements, keeping my particular area neat, tidy & presentable, serving customers on the cash service desk and helping out in the changing room area, which can get very busy at times. I also returned unwanted clothing back to their original display. I received an employee of the month award for outstanding customer service whilst working at NEXT. I completed two weeks work experience for Spirit Graphics where my principle areas of work consisted of assisting customers, mainly over the phone and to understand their graphical requirements. I would then facilitate their outputs into graphical displays such as advertisements using Photoshop amongst other software packages. This experience enhanced my practical computer and ICT skills together with giving me a first hand understanding of a dynamic business environment.
