Build a real-time facial expression recognition system using convolutional neural network for blind people .My approach was two-fold. Firstly, I fine-tuned a pre-trained VGG16 model using transfer learning, adapting it to the intricacies of facial expression recognition. Secondly, I conducted comparisons involving MobileNetV2 and ResNet50 with transfer learning against our VGG16-based model to ensure optimal results. Another aspect of our Facial Expression Recognition System was identifying all faces within an image. I harnessed the prowess of the Haar cascades classifier, a robust object detection tool that meticulously extracts facial features. The integration of OpenCV amplified our system's effectiveness, effortlessly detecting faces in real time. Show less

From designing intuitive user interfaces to implementing different functionalities, I was able to hone my web development skills and contribute to the project's success.
