      As IT Director of Oman Medical Specialty Board, I worked to build robust, secured and scalable IT Computing Infrastructure and Integrated Technology Environment that support in achieving OMSB business objectives. To this end, I -along with the team - worked on strategies and policies formation, business processes re-engineering, and digital transformation projects' planning and implementations. Beyond that my department and I and are setting the foundation for a “Smart OMSB” by leveraging on relevant emerging technologies that allows OMSB to ensures sustainable development. Examples of projects completed and are operational include: utilization of AR/VR in the simulation center for creative and innovative learning environment, Blockchain-based Physician Platform. Among other initiative currently in the works are: Robotic Processing Automation RPA for automation of multiple administrative repetitive tasks (ex. Resident Master Schedule) , Business Intelligence solution for Data Analytics powered with AI capability, Chatbot for two applications related to customer services, and Business Continuity Plan BCP. Since I have started working at OMSB, my team and I have work hard to: completed the implementation of more than 40 e-Services, systems and portals, upgraded partially the network infrastructure, worked towards ITIL best practices, completed multiple Cyber Security projects, and implemented IT ticketing system.
