  Mission Graduates is a nonprofit organization in San Francisco, dedicated to establishing a college education as an expectation and goal for every child, thereby allowing them to find a fulfilling career and call San Francisco home. Founded in 1972, our services include a wide range of after school, in-school, summer programs and virtual programs to support students on their education journey.-Collaborate with the Executive Director and Board of Directors to create a development plan which increases brand awareness and revenue to support the strategic direction-Ability to organize, motivate and lead volunteers to success through ad hoc event committees.   Work alongside the Extended Day Program Director to ensure sustainability, fiscal responsibility, & accountability systems to track impact, progress, & areas of improvement program-wide. -Support staff development on a daily basis by leading a weekly support team meeting where academic and classroom challenges are brought to a forum where the team finds solutions and discusses strategies to address complex classroom, academics, and youth development issues.-Collect monthly academic, enrichment program updates to communicate in external reports and marketing communications.-Help maintain the program’s calendar of activities and trainings for staff and volunteers.Build cultural and educational bridges with students and their families.-Assist in community outreach, parent communication, and volunteer recruitment and supervision.-Coordinate on-going communication and feedback systems with families, teachers and volunteers.-Assist in planning/facilitation of (at least) quarterly family engagement events -Maintain accurate youth files and records, i.e. attendance, student GPA, and other evaluation forms to track student progress.-Provide overall support of the program, including support for field trips, special events and parent workshops.-Work alongside the Extended Day Program Director to ensure program alignment to developing a college-going culture.-Explore & maintain partnerships with local colleges and universities to provide good examples of successful minority students in college.-Help coordinate field trips to local colleges and universities.-Collaborate on Trainings and Professional Development for all EDP Program Staff.-Fulfills organizational duties as they arise including participating in staff meetings, special committees, event planning and implementation.
