• Follow up with Site Engineers and General Foreman that all required Inspection/ Tests are carried out in accordance with Relevant Inspection/ test Plans, and all Inspection Request Forms are signed off by the Consultant Resident Engineer. • Completing all necessary QA documentation related to work and coordinate with Project Manager/Engineer for daily site inspections. • Coordinate with Project Manager/Engineer to ensure site instructions/ Nonconformance reports are acted upon and closed in a timely manner. • Coordination of different Subcontractors work and perform regular inspection of work done to ensure compliance with specified requirements, compliance with schedule, ensure sufficient and competent resources are available. Report any trends for delays to Construction Manager. • Ensure Confirmation of Verbal Instruction is initiated on Instructions given by RE on site, and ensure a copy is forwarded to PM. • Coordinates with consultant regards approvals of shop drawings/material submittals related to scope when necessary, coordinates, monitors, technical data, makes recommendations where required, agreeing them with the concerned, required changes are incorporated to ensure smooth matching with other works and the authorities regulations before submission. • Prior to commencement of a particular operation, verifies that a Method Statement is required/available/approved, and is the latest valid issue. Checks shop drawings, Method Statements, materials technical data against specifications and contract drawings. Uses ITP’s, MS’s and Checklists before inviting Consultant for inspection. • Monitors and supervises daily the progress and the quality of the works, rectify deficiencies. Rises NCR’s being particularly aware of the aesthetics related to high quality works for his and subcontractor’s works. • Complies works related Quality documentation in good order and daily forwards them to the PQM.
