To assist marine Engineering officer regarding all technical matters of the ship, Preparations of Technical evaluation of different equipments, Preparation of SOP’s regarding planned maintenance schedules, technical inspection and quality control of repair work. To organize daily maintenance activities including submit the reports to Fleet Engineering officer. My other responsibilities included: Vibration analysis of all machinery equipment throughout the ship including Olympus and Tyne Marine engines, mechanical and Electrical equipments. To maintain the vibration log and organize the maintenance of equipments involves high vibration during checks. To reset the base line readings for future references. Responsible to maintain the planned & corrective maintenance routines record. To deliver the maintenance record cords for execution and also train the subordinates for execution and record keeping. Responsible for Training of newly reported electrical artificers and Electrical technician onboard ship and facilitate the practical training. To maintain the record of all trainees for their future judgments. Responsible for interdepartmental coordination and resolve the disputed issues. Being member of Annual Evaluation team, performed testing for the newly reported technician and certified them for repair work onboard ship. Configuration, testing and commissioning of new equipments for time to time requirements. Coordination with refit execution teams from Dockyard, fleet maintenance Group (FMG) and civil contractors.
