  This is my dad's business where he rebuilds classic Volkswagens. The whole family helps support the daily workings of it. I am responsible for all aspects of technology present at his shop. From choosing and setting up new computers, to building out a new network, web server, and website. - Planned and executed build of new shop internet network, including running cables, setting up WiFi AP's, and building and managing a custom pfSense router. - Planned and executed build of new shop forum website with onsite web server to significantly reduce dedicated hosting costs.   Worked on several aspects of the Lory Student Centers Website (Wordpress), including making style adjustments, building Wordpress plugins, and helping various staff in the Lory Student Center use the back end of the website to accomplish their goals. Built an interactive map of the whole Lory Student Center from the groud up for incoming freshman. Map showed the location of food, restrooms, hangout areas, and shops around the building to aid in navigating. Frequently attended meetings with professional staff to talk about new features they wanted on the website, or ways to fix current issues. Used a project management system (Function Point) to manage my time in projects. Learned about User Experience and Search Engine Optimization and applied it to the Lory Student Centers website.
