Since the first day I met Zach I knew he was somebody that was going to change the world. He has an impressive history of experience. He has an ability to adapt and overcome every challenge which with he is presented. I have been privy to witness the mark he has made in so many fields and I expect truly amazing things from him. Zach worked for my company, Autism Training Solutions from 2008-2014 as a film producer. Zach led our production team through the process of pre-production, script writing, filming, and post production. With Zach’s expertise and vision, we were able to create an extremely impactful product used now by over 45,000 professionals and parents in the U.S. and abroad. In fact, this product became so successful that it was acquired by the leading online training provider for the health and human services industry—Relias Learning—in June of 2014. I am extremely grateful that Zach made himself available to be a part of the ATS project. He understands each step of the production process and successfully led our team in the creation of a am amazing and socially impactful product.

I had the pleasure of working with Rep. Mele Carroll at the Hawaii State Capitol during the 2009 Legislative session. I was tasked to stay abreast of happenings on a State wide level and more specifically the Maui District by providing summaries of proposed or passed legislation and assisted with constructing Mele's response to the legislation. I served by monitoring and analyzing the activities and new policies established by local, state and federal governments and on occasion consulted on specific projects. I focused on particular types of legislation, such as that dealing with Native Hawaiian Affairs issues and many others as Rep. Carroll Chaired, served as the chair of the House Committee on Human Service (HUS) and as a member for the Committees on Health (HLT) and Housing (HSG). Also with the Women's Legislative Caucus, Keiki Caucus, Kupuna Caucus, as well as the Historical Preservation Caucus. I examined the legislation initiatives that affected Rep Carroll and provided detailed reports about how the legislation will influence the organization's activities. It required extensive research, meetings with executives and government officials and contacting outside experts to request additional information. In some cases, legislative analysts might work with members of the government before bills are proposed or passed, providing information and insight that will influence the shape of the bill. Communication is a key duty of being a legislative analyst, I also communicate with government officials, lobbyists and members of the public who had questions about legislation. I was responsible for organizing meetings and conferences, and arranging official visits from legislators to the organization. From time to time I was able to travel to different Islands to attend conferences, meetings and seminars. We held many local forums all over the state to facilitate discussions with our constituents.
