I have submitted grant proposals in response to state and federal solicitations, including the U.S. Department of Agriculture Office of Rural Development, U.S. Department of Transportation, U.S. Economic Development Administration, U.S. Department of Justice, Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs, the Appalachian Regional Commission, and the U.S. National Park Service.I served as the coordinator for the federally-mandated Rural Transportation Planning Organization for the East Alabama Region, and my office provided program administrative support to the Calhoun Area Transportation Study. EARPDC’s Planning Division is designated to provide regional services for state and federal agencies, including the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs (ADECA), the U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA) designated Economic Development District (EDD) and the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) designated Local Development District (LDD) for the East Alabama region.
