  Current Internship at my father's company, Zurcom International. I started out my internship working with Zurcom International in April 2022, in Cape Town, South Africa. The second trade mission was for the recent AAD Expo 2022 (Africa Aerospace & Defense Expo), and we were representing the state of Maryland at the show. We managed to set up important meetings, get new connections, make sure that everything was going off without any issues. So far both shows that I worked on went a lot better than they were expected just since I was on the ground making sure that everyone got to where they needed, communicating with the trade advisors on any new meetings that I set up, and assisting our delegations where they needed assistance. I have also worked on a number of projects for new services and products that have gone to my dad in order to enter into the African Market. 1. CARICOM (Needed to find the correct people in the CARICOM countries for trade and export) 2. Aquila Ventures (A company from the USA who supplies firearms and ammunition, provides tactical training and security solutions.) 3. Armstrong (A small company from Barbados who have their own 100% Natural Kola Nut Mixer for cocktails, non-alc or alc. My most successful project yet as I was also asked by my father to do a market report for the South African Non-Alcoholic and Cocktail industries.) 4. ABNG (They supply a road patch for damage and potholes in roads) Show less
