  Responsible for maintaining and supervising grounds of the program's main building as well as preforming necessary maintenance tasks inside the building. Such duties include but are not limited to: Waxing or stripping floors, repairing walls, fixing plumbing such as toilets or sinks, Replacing broken window screens, assembling or building from scratch furniture. Insuring cleanliness of building in general and ordering supplies for program. In addition I was responsible for looking after the building's septic system which including documentation of effectiveness as well as documentation of a full visual inspection of the system. Also responsible for insuring program was following regulations from necessary agencies and standards(OSHA,NFPA,OPWDD,etc.). I supervised 2 individuals who were responsible for cleaning the program areas each day after program had ended as well as any crew that was sent from downtown offices or contractors to help with larger tasks and projects. Provided staff trainings around fire and chemical safety. Performed routine quarterly fire drills and took care of needed state documentation and inspection. Met regularly with contractors for bidding and estimates as well as setting up start dates for projects and punch lists for successful completion. Always the point of contact for contractors for projects. Responsible for programs "Green Initiative" that focused on ways the program could save resources both monetarily and environmentally. Responsible for assisting fleet supervisor with minor repairs to vehicles as well as helping transport vehicles to vendors for service and to pick up supplies and parts from vendors. During Covid-19 pandemic I’ve been in charge of the entire agency’s response to quarantined houses. This included training select maintenance staff in the use of equipment and providing house visits of staff were unavailable to disinfect as well as providing training to staff on increased cleaning protocols.
