  An Alliance of Small Island States (AOSIS) Fellow selected for the year 2022. During the Fellowship, the Fellows are trained in negotiation and the UN system in relation to three thematic areas: (1) Climate Change (2) Ocean Governance and (3) Sustainable Development. The areas of speciality I am working on are Sea Level Rise and Loss and Damage. This involves research, preparing briefs, interventions, submissions and talking points for other AOSIS officers and Member States. As well as attending negotiations on behalf of AOSIS.

  Crown Counsel within the Attorney General's Chambers:Primarily attached to the InternationalAffairs Unit and tasked with -representing Antigua and Barbuda at multilateral meetings and negotiations on a wide range of topics.-preparing and delivering reports for the monitoring systems of different International bodies, both within the Caribbean region and externally to global agencies such as the ILO and UN-ensuring that the legal system within Antigua and Barbuda is reflective of the international obligations that the country has undertaken.Other assigned tasks include but are not limited to:-monitoring and vetting the applications for Non-citizen's Land Holding Licences-representing the interests of the Government in various stages of litigation. The matters cover a wide range but most fall within the area of constitutional law, employment law and judicial review.-Legal Officer for specific schemes within the Government, such as the Sustainable Island Resources Framework Fund (SIRF FUND), the Highway Expansion Project and National Housing and Urban Renewal Company Limited.
