An Alliance of Small Island States (AOSIS) Fellow selected for the year 2022. During the Fellowship, the Fellows are trained in negotiation and the UN system in relation to three thematic areas: (1) Climate Change (2) Ocean Governance and (3) Sustainable Development. The areas of speciality I am working on are Sea Level Rise and Loss and Damage. This involves research, preparing briefs, interventions, submissions and talking points for other AOSIS officers and Member States. As well as attending negotiations on behalf of AOSIS.
