Aptar Inc. is a company in Mukwonago, Wisconsin which molds plastic pieces which are food safe. This includes caps for water bottles, deodorant lids, and ketchup lids. My position at Aptar Inc. was to run each of these machines. Running a machine includes the tasks of: Transporting the items it creates, Assuring that the pieces being made are of high quality, and making sure the machines never stop running. This job was 3rd shift, 12 hours per shift. During this time I would be given machines to run, and throughout the night I would need to constantly do each of the jobs for running a machine on every separate machine. This position taught me a lot about how to become flexible with my time schedule for the position, as well as more about how Quality Assurance is executed in a real life scenario. Show less
