  The Ram Pump subteam investigates fluid mechanics as a means to optimize the AguaClara Vertical Ram Pump (ACVRP). Past projects have included analyzing the length parameters of the lab setup as a means of optimizing pump efficiency, refabricating the driving spring configuration to limit microvibrations, discovering key dimensional variables to scale the ram pump, and executing performance experiments to identify failure points in the system.
