Direct daily mine operations in a safe and efficient manner. Mine operations include: 7 Joy continuous miner sections, 14 Joy shuttle cars, 10 conveyor terminal groups, mine tailings placement and 2 production ore hoists. Production personnel includes: 70 +/- full-time hourly employees and 4 salary employees. Other responsibilities include, but not limited to: Budget forecasts, capital projects, continuous improvement (Lean Six Sigma), long and short-term mining plans.
