  The Land Stewardship Coordinator is responsible for the support and growth of the Grassroots Gardens Land Trust. This position has two primary functions. Firstly, under the supervision of the Program Manager, the Coordinator will support the stewardship activities of the gardens preparing for or already entered into the Grassroots Gardens Land Trust, including building gardeners’ skills, responding to program needs, supervising volunteers, and ensuring gardeners have the tools necessary for success. Secondly, the Coordinator works under the direction of the Executive Director in advocating for the permanent protection and conservation of the community gardens in or entering the trust, including coordinating titles, appraisals, and environmental reviews on new trust properties and the development of land management plans.
